Early in the morning we will set out for Signagi (XVIIIc), famed as city of love and renowned for its buildings in the South Italian classicist style with elements of Georgian architecture You will have chance to stroll down the old street of the city and explore all major sight-seeing places.

In Signagi we will have a  opportunity to taste traditional Georgian wines in  one of Georgian families. You will get to know the tradition of having tamada (toastmaster). You will be offered to try  the best dishes of national cuisine together with aromatic wines made locally and accompanied by Georgian national music

Later we will pay a visit to St. Nino Monastery (VI c). Bodbe Monastery is situated in 2 km away from Sighnaghi. It is here that St. Nino, the Enlightener of Georgia, has settled down on the hillside.  She preached Christianity and converted inhabitants into Orthodox Christians.

Than we will visit Tsinandali, place noted for the estate and its historic winery, known as grapes village of Kakheti. We will also explore the Aleksandre Chavchavadze House-Museum.

Within the tour we’ll visit the old and new Shuamta monasteries !
